AC Milan Wins Narrowly
Hold on to the second place in Serie A.

WEB AC Milan strengthened their grip on second place in Serie A on Saturday with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Atalanta. Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao scored the goals for Milan, who are now seven points clear of third-placed Napoli. Atalanta took the lead through Ademola Lookman in the 25th minute, but Giroud equalized just before half-time. Leao then scored the winner in the 75th minute.
The win was Milan's fourth in a row in Serie A and their sixth in their last seven games. They have now won 18 of their 27 games this season, drawn five and lost four. Atalanta, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four games and are now down to fifth place in the table.
Milan will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie. Atalanta will next play on Sunday when they travel to face Fiorentina in Serie A.
