Schenn spent six seasons with Flyers

Traded for 27th pick, Morgan Frost, Jori Lehtera, and a conditional pick

Center Brayden Schenn was traded to the St Louis Blues by the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday for the 27th pick, Morgan Frost, Jori Lehtera, and a conditional pick. Schenn had spent six seasons with the Flyers after being acquired from the Los Angeles Kings in 2012.

Schenn served as an alternate captain for the Flyers for two seasons, beginning in 2020-21. He was one of five restricted free agents (RFAs) the Flyers had this offseason, but he was the only one with priority for a long-term extension.

Schenn's departure from Philadelphia marks the end of an era for the Flyers. He was one of the team's longest-tenured players and a fan favorite. He leaves the Flyers as the team's all-time leader in game-winning goals (49).
